A parent is requesting for a Link ID. What's a Link ID and how do I give him/her one?

A Link ID is an ID that you give to your customers or parents so that they can access your online services, including their child's online portfolio. A Link ID is first generated when you create a family account for the parent, and is included in the letter of introduction that you give to them. Please ensure that you create a family account for the parent first before proceeding further.

If for any reason the Link ID that was first generated during account creation was lost, and the parent could not access your online services, please follow these steps to generate another Link ID:

1. Bring up the parent's account. Click here for instructions on how to open and manage a customer account.
2. From the parent's Account Detail page, you can generate a Link ID for the parent. Click here for more help in generating the Link ID. Once completed, this process generates a letter of instructions that contains both the Link ID and instructions on how to access your online services using the Link ID. Please give this letter to the parent.
