When do transactions get posted to the parent's account statement?

Transactions are posted on the posting date. For instance, if a transaction has a posting date of March 15, 2008 and today is March 12, 2008 only, this transaction is considered a post-dated transaction, and will only be posted on March 15, 2008. The parent will be able to see this transaction in her account statement only on March 15, 2008 and onwards.

Posted transactions are final and cannot be modified. This ensures that your financial records are always accurate and reliable, and any adjustments to the account balance are always recorded with new transactions instead of modifying past transactions.
