I accidentally closed the history, which is disallowing me from making further changes in my customer accounts' opening balances. What should I do?
Unfortunately, once you've closed the history, you cannot change the customer accounts' opening balances anymore. However, you can adjust the current account balance by adding charge and credit transactions. A charge transaction increases the account balance, while a credit transaction decreases the account balance.
To adjust account balances, please follow these steps:
- Bring up and manage the account. For instructions on how to bring up and manage accounts, click here. This will take you to the account's detail page of the parent.
- From this page, you can either add a charge or add a credit by using the New transactions drop down box located on the right side of the page under the Financials section.
