I'm in the Charge page. What can I do from here?
This page allows you to enter charges for this account. Once charged, the total account balance increases equal to the charge amount.
Instructions:
- Using the Transaction date drop down boxes, select the transaction date. The transaction date you enter is the date when the transaction occurs, e.g. when you perform the service. You have the option of selecting the posting date. The posting date determines when the transaction is finalized and is displayed to your customer.
- Using the Posting date radio buttons, the charge can be applied and posted to today, a custom date or the same date as the transaction date. If the Custom radio button is selected, set the custom date by using the Custom date drop down boxes. Setting the posting date to Today allows your customer to see the charge immediately. A charge that has a future posting date will not be seen by the customer until the posting date and can be deleted before the posting date.
- Enter the charge amount in the Amount box.
- Enter a description in the Description box.
- Click the Add more charges to this account checkbox if you want to add more charges.
- Click the Continue button once done. This will take you to this same page, Charge page, if the Add more charges to this account checkbox is selected/checked to allow you to add additional charges. Otherwise, clicking the Continue button will take you back to the Account Detail page. Alternatively, you can click the Cancel button to cancel the process.
Note: If you want to add a recurring charge profile, click the
Add a recurring charge link.
