I want to create an automatic recurring charge of $100 for a parent account every 1st of the month for 1 year. What should I do?
To create an automatic recurring charge of $100 every 1st of the month for 1 year, please follow these steps:
- Go to the Account Detail page of the family account you would like to add the recurring charge profile. If you need instructions on how to get to the Account Detail page of a parent account, please refer to the following Help: How do I manage or bring up active accounts and update account information such as address and telephone number?
- Click on the Manage recurring transactions link under the Financials section. This will bring you to the Account Transactions page, where you can manage the account's transactions, including recurring transaction profiles.
- Click on the Add a recurring charge link under the Tools section. This will take you to the Recurring Charge page as shown below, where you can enter the profile's schedule, amount, description and end date.
- Enter the following information:
- Schedule - Monthly, Every 1st of the month
- Run Until - Enter the date one year from now. For example, if today was April 1, 2011, enter April 1, 2012.
- Amount - $100
- Description - Enter any appropriate description such as "Every 1st of Month Childcare Fees"
- Click the Continue button to complete creating the recurring charge profile.
