How do I change the phone number of my provider profile?
Changing the telephone number of your provider profile will require a phone validation process. This ensures that parents can contact this number.
To change your provider profile telephone number, please follow these steps:
- Sign in to go to your My Account page.
- Under the My Business section of the specific provider profile you want to modify, click the Change provider phone number link.
- Type the New Phone Number in the New Phone Number box. Re-type the New Phone Number in the Re-enter New Phone Number box.
- Click the Change Phone button.
- Click the Call Now button to proceed with the validation process. To call later, click the Call Later button.
- The system will call the telephone number you specified in your provider profile. Please answer the telephone to connect with our validation system.
- Enter the 4-digit validation code either by using the keypad, or by saying/reading out the validation code over the telephone. If successful, you should hear a confirmation message telling you that the phone number is now validated. Please note that for VoIP or rotary telephones, you must say or read out the validation code before our system can recognize the digits.
- Click the Continue button to complete the validation process. Click the Continue button again to go back to your My Account (Account Detail) page.
Note: We currently do not support validation of a telephone number with a telephone extension (e.g. ext 319).
