What is a directory listing?
A directory listing is a short summary of your business (or service) information that appears in our online directory as a record. As shown below, each Parent Relief directory listing displays the business name, the address (if you decide to show it), categories (e.g. Daycare & Nursery, Nanny), your business telephone number, email (optional), and the approximate distance between the business location and the location entered in the search. Moreover, the listing will indicate criteria that matched a search detail. For instance, the first listing in the search result sample shown below shows the criteria that matched are Name or Category, Schedule and Age Group.

Unlike other conventional telephone directories that only list providers by category, parents use Parent Relief's directory specifically to search for providers that fit their special needs such as schedule and distance from their home. If your service matches any of the parent's criteria, your directory listing will show up as part of the results, thereby, advertising your services to the parent.
